Society using triad ritual to be deemed unlawful society
(1)
Every society, whether it is registered or not, which uses a triad ritual shall be deemed to be an unlawful society.
(2)
Any person found in possession of or having the custody or control of any books, accounts, writings, seals, banners or insignia of or relating to any triad society or branch of a triad society, whether the society or branch is established in Singapore or not, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both.
(3)
Every offence under subsection (2) shall be deemed to be a non‑bailable offence and an arrestable case within the meaning of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010.
