Amendment of Schedule A
Schedule A to the Stamp Ordinance is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting the exemption to Article No. 11 thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“Exemption:—Awards made under any written law relating to the acquisition of land for public purposes.”;
(b)
by deleting the words “or DUPLICATE” appearing in Article No. 27 thereof;
(c)
by deleting the expression “(including any pensioner of the Government of the Federation of Malaya)” appearing in Articles Nos. 48 and 53 (d) thereof; and
(d)
by deleting paragraphs (e) and (f) appearing under the heading “Exemptions” in the column “Description of Instrument” in Article No. 53 thereof.
