20. Application

(a)
levy of import duty;

“import”, with its grammatical variations and cognate expressions, means to take or cause to be taken into Malaysia by land, air or post;
(b)
search and seizure;
(c)
trials and proceedings; and
(d)
offences and penalties,shall apply so far as the same can be made applicable and are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Part to the importation of goods by post and to goods imported by post.
