The Imperial Act known as the Statutory Declarations Act 1835 shall be deemed to be and to have been from the date of the passing thereof in force in Singapore.

Form in Schedule sufficient

A declaration made in the form in the Schedule to this Act shall be deemed to be a declaration made by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835 and shall be sufficient for all purposes.

False declaration to be punishable under Penal Code

Declarations purporting to be made by virtue of the provisions of the Statutory Declarations Act 1835 shall be deemed to be such declarations as are referred to in sections 199 and 200 of the Penal Code [Cap. 224].
