Regulation 14

Subject to any direction which the Authority may give, the person for whom any works are to be carried out on any public street shall appoint a suitably qualified person to supervise the carrying out of the works.

The person carrying out any works on a public street shall ensure that whenever the works are being carried out, there is at least one suitably qualified person present at the site of the works to supervise the carrying out of the works.

For the purpose of paragraph (1), a person is suitably qualified for appointment as a supervisor if he holds the appropriate qualification specified in the Code of Practice in respect of the type of works which are to be carried out.
