Regulation 20A

Any person who brings a vehicle into Singapore by way of any route, landing place, checkpoint, or point of entry, other than a relevant checkpoint, shall apply to the Registrar or an authorised officer for a vehicle entry permit in such manner as the Registrar may determine.

If the Registrar or authorised officer is satisfied that the person or persons in or on the vehicle are only making a temporary stay in Singapore, the Registrar or authorised officer may grant a vehicle entry permit in respect of that vehicle for such period and subject to such conditions as the Registrar may determine.
