Copy of application for withdrawal to be given to defendant

The applicant for withdrawal shall, not less than 7 days before the hearing of his application for withdrawal —

(a)

serve on the defendant and every other claimant a copy of the application for withdrawal and the affidavits supporting the application; and

(b)

publish at the applicant’s own expense a notice in Form 3 in the Schedule in the Gazette or in at least one local newspaper circulating in Singapore.
