An application under section 71 shall be abated by the death of a sole claimant or the survivor of several claimants.
Subregulation 2

The abatement of an application under section 71 shall not affect the liability of the claimant or of any other person to the payment of costs previously incurred.

To avoid doubt, this rule and rule 30 do not apply to an application under section 71(f).
