Qualifications of personnel
Subregulation 1
Every licensee shall ensure that every investigator, member of an institutional animal care and use committee and all personnel involved in the care, treatment and use of animals in the research facility of the licensee for scientific purposes are suitably qualified, trained and instructed to perform their duties.
Subregulation 2
Every licensee shall, with sufficient frequency —
(a)
provide the personnel involved in the care, treatment and use of animals with relevant training and instruction; and
(b)
review the qualifications of such personnel.
