Prohibition of importation
Subregulation 1
Except as provided in sub-paragraph (2) and paragraph 4, no person shall import or tranship any animal or bird part or product from any country or place.
Subregulation 2
The animal or bird part or product specified in the first column of the Schedule may, subject to the restrictions specified in the fourth column and any other restrictions which the Director-General may think fit to impose, be imported or transhipped from the countries or places specified in the second column, for the purposes specified in the third column of that Schedule.
