Regulation 9
Validity of certificate of registration
Subject to the provisions of the Act, a certificate of registration in respect of an aircraft remains in force unless —
(a)
the aircraft is deregistered under Article IX(5) of the Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment signed at Cape Town on 16 November 2001 on an application under regulation 5 of the International Interests in Aircraft Equipment Regulations 2026; or
(b)
the certificate of registration is suspended or revoked by the Authority.
