Regulation 16
Safety management system
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must establish and maintain a safety management system —
that consists of all the components and elements set out in the Third Schedule; and (b)that is commensurate to the size of the AOC holder’s organisation and the complexity of the AOC holder’s operations.
Subregulation 2
An AOC holder must describe the safety management system in such documents as the Director‑General of Civil Aviation may require.
Subregulation 3
An AOC holder must obtain the acceptance of the Director‑General of Civil Aviation for —
the safety management system mentioned in paragraph (1); (b)the documents mentioned in paragraph (2); and
any change or amendment to the AOC holder’s safety management system before making that change or amendment.
