Automatic Dependent Surveillance — Broadcast (out) (ADS — B (out))
Subregulation 1
An AOC holder must ensure that every large aeroplane is equipped with ADS — B (out) capability.
Subregulation 2
In this regulation, “ADS — B (out) capability” means the function by which an aeroplane is capable of automatically transmitting data (such as aircraft identification, position and additional information, as appropriate) in a broadcast mode via a data link.
