These Rules may be cited as the Legal Profession (Prescribed Statutory Bodies and Law Offices in Public Service) Rules.
Prescribed statutory bodies and law offices in public service
For the purposes of paragraph (b) of the definition of “relevant legal officer” in section 2(1) of the Act, the prescribed statutory bodies and law offices in the public service are as follows:
the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore;
the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore;
the Singapore Land Authority;
the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore; (e)the National Environment Agency;
the Public Utilities Board;
the Public Defender’s Office.
