Regulation 2
Compoundable offences
Subregulation 1
Any offence under section 8K(4) or 8M(8) of the Act may be compounded by the Authority or an enforcement officer in accordance with section 12 of the Act.
Subregulation 2
The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded by the Superintendent in accordance with section 12 of the Act:
(a)
any offence under section 5A(4), 13(3), 14(1), 17(2), 17A(2) or 19 of the Act;
(b)
any offence under section 5(1), 10(2), 13(2) or 15(4) or (5), read with section 16 of the Act;
(c)
any offence under rule 12(2) of the Parking Places (Licensing and Control of Private Parking Places for Heavy Vehicles) Rules (R 1);
(d)
any offence under rule 4(1), 5A(3), 8 or 10 of the Parking Places (Licensing and Control of Private Parking Places for Heavy Vehicles) Rules, read with section 16 of the Act;
(e)
any offence under rule 2A(2), 3, 4(1) or (3), 7, 8(1) or (2), 9, 10(1) or (3), 11(1), (2) or (3), 12(1) or (2), 13, 13A(1), 14, 15, 16(3), 18(1), (2), (3) or (5), 19, 21, 29(1), (2) or (4), 30 or 31(3) of the Parking Places Rules (R 2), read with section 16 of the Act;
(f)
any offence under rule 3A, 4(1), 5(2), 6(1), 7, 8, 11, 12, 13 or 14(2) of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules (R 3), read with section 16 of the Act;
(g)
any offence under rule 3, 4(1) or (4), 6(2), 8(2), 10(1) or (2), 11 or 12(1) or (2) of the Parking Places (Parking of Heavy Vehicles) Rules (R 4), read with section 16 of the Act.
Regulation 3
Revocation
The Parking Places (Composition of Offences) Rules 2018 (G.N. No. S 258/2018) are revoked.
