Use and storage of pesticide

No pesticide shall be applied or used in the cultivation of plants or kept or stored on any farm unless the pesticide is registered with the Director-General under the Control of Plants (Registration of Pesticides) Rules (R 3).
Subregulation 2

Every licensee shall ensure that the application or use of any pesticide in the cultivation of plants on his farm is carried out or supervised by a pesticide operator certified by the Director-General under rule 14(1) or (2).
