Definitions
In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —“Community Service Officer” means the person under whose supervision an offender is to perform the work required under a community service order in force against him;“community service order” means an order made by the Youth Court under section 44(1)(f) of the Act and includes an order made by the Youth Court for the purpose of giving effect to a requirement of a juvenile case conference under section 45(1)(d) of the Act;[Deleted by S 641/2014 wef 01/10/2014]“juvenile case conference” means a juvenile case conference convened under section 45 of the Act;“offender” means a child or young person —
in respect of whom a community service order is in force; or
in respect of whom the Youth Court is considering making such an order;“probation officer” means a person appointed to be a probation officer under section 3 of the Probation of Offenders Act (Cap. 252).
