Other duties of local representative
Subregulation 1
A local representative appointed by the holder of a certificate for a regulated fire safety product must render all reasonable assistance —
to the accredited certification body or the Commissioner for the conduct of any tests or inspections in relation to the regulated fire safety product; and
to the Commissioner in relation to any direction given under section 73 of the Act to the holder.
Subregulation 2
A local representative who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes paragraph (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
