Regulation 12
Rough diamonds in transit or on transhipment
Subregulation 1
A person who imports rough diamonds into Singapore in transit or on transhipment shall —
(a)
upon importation, lock, seal or otherwise secure the shipment in the manner required by a proper officer of customs or such other person as the Director-General may direct; and
(b)
ensure that the shipment leaves Singapore in an identical state as when it entered Singapore.
Subregulation 2
Any person who contravenes paragraph (1) shall be guilty of an offence.
