This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Republic of the Philippines) Order 2009 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12th December 2008.

The Republic of the Philippines is hereby declared as a prescribed foreign country for the purposes of Part III of the Act.
