Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China) Order 2004 and shall come into operation on 14th July 2004.

Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters (Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China) Order 2004 and shall come into operation on 14th July 2004.
Declaration of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China as prescribed foreign country
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China is hereby declared as a prescribed foreign country for the purposes of Part III of the Act.
