2. Notice under section 68D(1) of Act
Feedback & supportA notice to the Director‑General under section 68D(1) of the Act must be supported by the following documents and information: (a)a statutory declaration that the particulars in the notice are true;
a copy of the certificate of registration issued by the Registrar under section 18(c) of the Act in relation to the registered design specified in the notice;
evidence that the period of registration of the registered design was duly extended at all times;
where the notice is given by a person as agent for the registered owner or exclusive licensee of the registered design, evidence of the authority of the person giving the notice.
The notice must be accompanied by the fee prescribed in the Registered Designs (Border Enforcement Measures — Fees) Rules 2022 (G.N. No. S 815/2022).
The registered owner or exclusive licensee of the registered design may appoint another person to act as its, his or her agent for the purpose of giving the notice.
