This Order may be cited as the Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) (Exemption from Prohibition against Dealing) Order 2012 and shall come into operation on 24th August 2012.

Subregulation 1

Ab Wahab Bin Ahmad (NRIC No. S1406117G) and Norainah Binte Hussein (NRIC No. S1744855B) are hereby exempted from the application of section 6 of the Act in respect of the sale of the leasehold interest in the flat known as Apartment Block 172, Woodlands Street 13, #03-317, Singapore 730172, on the condition that the balance of the proceeds of the sale, after deducting —

(a)

the repayment of the amount outstanding under any housing loan in respect of the purchase of the leasehold interest in the flat (including interest);

(b)

the repayment of any money withdrawn from the Central Provident Fund for the purchase of the leasehold interest in the flat (including interest); and

(c)

the payment of the expenses connected with the sale of the leasehold interest in the flat, including commission payable to any housing agent,is deposited in the bank account as designated in the letter of exemption issued to Ab Wahab Bin Ahmad and Norainah Binte Hussein dated 23rd August 2012.

Subregulation 2

Suggest a correction

Norainah Binte Hussein is further exempted from the application of section 6 of the Act in respect of —

(a)

any withdrawal by her from the bank account referred to in sub-paragraph (1); and

(b)

the use by her of the sums withdrawn therefrom.

Suggest a correction

The exemption in respect of the activity referred to in sub-paragraph (2)(b) is subject to the conditions stated in the letter of exemption referred to in sub-paragraph (1).
