20. Release under escort
Feedback & supportThe Director PNSD may, on the application of a detainee or an immediate family member of a detainee and on compassionate grounds, by issuing an order for release under escort in Form 5, allow the detainee to leave the detention barrack under escort for such period as the Director PNSD may determine. (2) The period under paragraph (1) counts as part of the period of detention served by the detainee.
Subregulation 1
The Director PNSD may, on the application of a detainee or an immediate family member of a detainee and on compassionate grounds, by issuing an order for release under escort in Form 5, allow the detainee to leave the detention barrack under escort for such period as the Director PNSD may determine.
Subregulation 2
The period under paragraph (1) counts as part of the period of detention served by the detainee.
