Regulation 8
Implementation of safety and health management system
Subregulation 1
It shall be the duty of the occupier of every workplace specified in the Second Schedule to implement a safety and health management system for the purpose of ensuring the safety and health of persons at work in the workplace.
Subregulation 2
The following are relevant as practical guidance with respect to the implementation of a safety and health management system mentioned in paragraph (1):
any Singapore Standard relating to safety and health management systems, published by the Enterprise Singapore Board and as in force from time to time, as approved by the Council under section 40B(1) of the Act; (b)any other approved code of practice relating to safety and health management systems.
