3. Award of Medal

The Medal may be awarded to any person who has completed at least 25 years of continuous and unbroken service in the Singapore Police Force as —
a uniformed Singapore Police Force operationally ready national serviceman; or
a volunteer enrolled as a member of the Special Constabulary deemed to be constituted under section 66(1) of the Police Force Act (Cap. 235).
The period of full-time national service completed by the serviceman shall be included in the computation of service for the purposes of paragraph (1).
Subregulation 1
