Procedure for cancelling registration
Subregulation 1
For the purposes of section 25A(6) of the Act, the prescribed period is 14 days.
Subregulation 2
The representations by a professional deputy after receiving a notice under section 25A(5) of the Act must be made in such form and manner as specified on the Public Guardian’s website.
Subregulation 3
For the purposes of section 25A(8) of the Act, the prescribed period is 30 days.
Subregulation 4
If the Public Guardian decides to cancel the registration of a professional deputy, the information under section 25A(8) of the Act must specify the effective date of the cancellation.
