Regulation 42

Duty to notify and report accidents

If in any case owing to the presence of a vehicle in the airside an accident occurs in which a person or an animal is injured or any property is damaged, the driver of the vehicle must —

(a)

stop the vehicle; and

(b)

report the accident to a person on duty at the airside management centre as soon as is reasonably practicable and, in any case, not later than 24 hours after the occurrence of the accident.

The employer of the driver of the vehicle in paragraph (1) shall ensure that the accident is reported to a person on duty at the airside management centre.
