Description of Bar

Subregulation 1

A Bar awarded for any operation shall —

(a)

subject to paragraph (2), be represented by a silver clasp to be attached to the ribbon by which the Medal is suspended;

(b)

be no larger than 34 millimetres in length and 7 millimetres in width; and

(c)

bear the name of the country where the service was performed, and the year in which the service commenced.

Where a Star is awarded in addition to a Bar, the Bar with Star shall be represented by a gold clasp bearing the Star.
