Regulation 12F

Performance of counterparty due diligence measures by third parties

A responsible person may rely on a licensed estate agent to perform the counterparty due diligence measures which the responsible person is required to perform under regulations 12B to 12E in the manner described in regulation 8, as if the references to customer due diligence measures in regulation 8 were references to counterparty due diligence measures.
