This Notification may be cited as the Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Schemes (Designation of Deposit Insurance and Policy Owners’ Protection Fund Agency) Notification 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2011.

Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore, is designated as the deposit insurance and policy owners’ protection fund agency for the purposes of the Act.
