reg 2Direction under section 17(1)(d) of Act

(1)

The Minister directs that, subject to sub-paragraph (2), the Registrar must not accept for registration the word “Temasek” in any registered business name.

(2)

Sub-paragraph (1) does not apply if the person applying to be registered as carrying on business, whether as a sole proprietor or as a partner, under the business name is Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1967 (Registration No. 197401143C).

Subregulation 1

The Minister directs that, subject to sub-paragraph (2), the Registrar must not accept for registration the word “Temasek” in any registered business name.

Subregulation 2
