Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Protection from Harassment (Exempt Class of Persons) Order 2014 and shall come into operation on 15 November 2014.

Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Protection from Harassment (Exempt Class of Persons) Order 2014 and shall come into operation on 15 November 2014.
Exempt class of persons
The class of persons in respect of whom no protection order or expedited protection order is to be made consists of every person who —
is in the business of providing any of the following services:
making available or operating any facility for network access; (ii)making available any service relating to, or providing connections for, the transmission or routing of data;
displaying, to an end‑user who uses the service to make an online search, an index of search results, each of which links that end‑user to content hosted or stored at a location which is separate from the location of the index of search results;
publishes electronically, in the course of providing the applicable service referred to in sub‑paragraph (a)(i), (ii) or (iii), an offending communication or a statement complained of;
is not the originator of that communication or statement; (d)does not select any person who may hear, see or otherwise perceive that communication or statement; and
performs the applicable service referred to in sub‑paragraph (a)(i), (ii) or (iii) in an automatic manner (with technical input only) without modifying the whole or any part of the content of that communication or statement.
