Citation

This Order is the Remote Gambling (Exemption) (No. 2) Order 2017.

Regulation 2

Definitions

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires —“draw” means the draw to be held at 5 p.m. on 25 October 2017 at 40 Scotts Road, Environment Building, Singapore 228231, as part of the promotion;“organiser” means the National Environment Agency established under section 3 of the National Environment Agency Act (Cap. 195);“promotion” means the promotion called “Energy‑Saving Challenge” which is to be made available from 15 June 2017 to 30 September 2017 (both dates inclusive) on the website at http://cgs.sg/esc;“public accountant” has the same meaning as in section 2(1) of the Accountants Act (Cap. 2).

Exemption

Subregulation 1

The organiser is exempt from sections 11, 13, 15 and 17 of the Act in respect of the promotion and the draw.

The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
