Regulation 143

Appeal

Subregulation 1

An appeal lies at the instance of the trustee of a bankrupt’s estate from any order of the Court made upon —

(a)

an application for the discharge of the bankrupt; or

(b)

an application for the annulment of the bankruptcy order in question on the ground that the debts of the debtor have been paid in full.

Subregulation 2

When a day for an appeal mentioned in paragraph (1) has been appointed, the appellant must give notice of the day and time appointed for the hearing to the bankrupt.
