Regulation 23

there are adequate and proper facilities to accommodate patients in every approved permanent premises after they have undergone any assisted reproduction procedure involving the administration of anaesthetics;

the patients mentioned in paragraph (a) are observed and monitored by the licensee’s personnel;

there is adequate space for the movement of personnel for the monitoring of patients and treatment of complications; and

the area in which the patients are accommodated has —

adequate furniture for patients to sit or lie down;

monitoring equipment; and

a resuscitation trolley.
