Instructions for self‑collection of specimens

Regulation 51
Where any specimen is to be collected from a person by the person himself or herself, for the purpose of conducting any test on it (whether or not the test is to be self‑administered by the person), a licensee must provide the person with —
(a)
instructions on how and when the specimen is to be collected; and
(b)
the precautions that are to be taken to avoid contamination and degradation of the specimen.
