72. Registry to be open throughout the year
Feedback & supportThe Registry of the Supreme Court is to be open on every day of the year except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

“court” means the General Division, the Appellate Division, or the Court of Appeal;
Despite subsection (1), the Registrar may lawfully sit or carry out the business of the Registry on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday if —

“Registrar” means the Registrar of the Supreme Court and includes the Deputy Registrar and the Assistant Registrars;
the Chief Justice has directed the Registrar to do so on that day; or
in the opinion of the Registrar, the business to be despatched is extremely urgent.
The office hours of the Registry are such times as the Chief Justice may from time to time direct.
