Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) (Exemption from Prohibition against Dealing) (No. 2) Order 2008

This Order may be cited as the Terrorism (Suppression of Financing) (Exemption from Prohibition against Dealing) (No. 2) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 10th June 2008.

Ishak s/o Mohamed Noohu (NRIC No. S1511712E) is hereby exempted from the application of section 6 of the Act in respect of —

the surrender of insurance policy No. 10052635 with HSBC Insurance (Singapore) Private Limited; and

the deposit of moneys received from the surrender of his insurance policy and the investment profits earned under the policy in the year 2006 in the bank account designated in the letter of exemption dated 10th June 2008.

Faridah binte Abdul Wahid (NRIC No. S1670117C) is hereby exempted from the application of section 6 of the Act in respect of —

any withdrawal from that bank account; and

the use of the sum withdrawn therefrom.

The exemption in respect of the activity referred to in sub-paragraph (2)(b) is subject to the conditions stated in the letter of exemption.

The exemption in respect of the activity referred to in sub-paragraph (2)(b) is subject to the conditions stated in the letter of exemption.
