In the Tobacco and Vaporisers Control (Urine Specimens and Urine Tests) Regulations 2026 (G.N. No. S 251/2026) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), in regulation 2, before the definition of “DSO National Laboratories”, insert —“ “approved urine specimen handling machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of handling urine specimens;“approved urine specimen labelling machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of labelling bottles and test tubes used to process urine specimens;“approved urine specimen sealing machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of sealing urine specimens;“Director” means the Director of the Central Narcotics Bureau appointed under section 3(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973;”.
