Regulation 2
Definitions
In these Regulations —“approved urine specimen handling machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of handling urine specimens;“approved urine specimen labelling machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of labelling bottles and test tubes used to process urine specimens;“approved urine specimen sealing machine” means a machine approved by the Director to carry out the function of sealing urine specimens;“Director” means the Director of the Central Narcotics Bureau appointed under section 3(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973;“DSO National Laboratories” means the company incorporated under the Companies Act 1967 as DSO National Laboratories (UEN 199701777M);“enforcement officer” means —
an authorised officer appointed under section 19 of the Act;
a supervising officer appointed under section 19A(2) of the Act; or
a serviceman in the Singapore Armed Forces who is appointed by the Minister as an enforcement officer under section 19J(3) of the Act.
