47. Attachment
Feedback & supportThe attachment mentioned in section 46(1)(a) may be made by a person appointed for the purpose by the Director who shall publicly notify the attachment in the prescribed manner and shall take an inventory of the property attached.
Director
“Director” means the Director of Water Pollution Control and Drainage appointed under section 3 and includes a Deputy Director and an Assistant Director of Water Pollution Control and Drainage;
Such a person shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of the Penal Code [Cap. 224].
That person may break open in the daytime any house or building for the purpose of effecting the attachment.[46

“house” includes any dwelling-house, warehouse, office, counting-house, shop, school and any other building in which persons are employed;
