Section 12G

A person commits an offence if the person, without reasonable excuse, obstructs or hinders the Director‑General or an enforcement officer in the exercise of any power or performance of any function under this Act.

A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
