Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Women’s Charter (Family Violence) (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 1 August 2026.

Citation and commencement
These Rules are the Women’s Charter (Family Violence) (Amendment) Rules 2026 and come into operation on 1 August 2026.
Amendment of rule 2
In the Women’s Charter (Family Violence) Rules 2024 (G.N. No. S 900/2024) (called in these Rules the principal Rules), in rule 2, after the definition of “section”, insert —“ “sector member of the National Council of Social Service” means a sector member as defined in section 2 of the National Council of Social Service Act 1992;”.
Amendment of rule 3
In the principal Rules, in rule 3, replace paragraph (c) with —“(c)the staff of, or volunteers with, any organisation that is a sector member of the National Council of Social Service, but only if the organisation provides services related to family violence;”.
Amendment of rule 4
In the principal Rules, in rule 4, replace paragraph (c) with —“(c)the staff of, or volunteers with, any organisation that is a sector member of the National Council of Social Service, but only if the organisation provides services related to family violence;”.
Amendment of rule 10
In the principal Rules, in rule 10, replace paragraph (n) with —“(n)the staff of, or volunteers with, any organisation that is a sector member of the National Council of Social Service, but only if the organisation provides services to persons who are at risk of family violence;”.
