8. Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, inspectors and authorised officers to be public servants

The Commissioner and every Deputy Commissioner, inspector and authorised officer appointed under section 7 shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of the Penal Code (Cap. 224).
