Administration of Act

The Authority is responsible —

(a)

for the registration of public accountants and the approval of accounting corporations, accounting firms and accounting LLPs and the names thereof under this Act;

(b)

for the control and regulation of the practice of the profession of accountancy by public accountants, accounting corporations, accounting firms and accounting LLPs; and

(c)

generally, for the administration of this Act,and must carry out those functions subject to the general or special directions of the Minister.
