Citation and commencement

Citation and commencement
This Order is the Active Mobility (Registrable Personal Mobility Devices) (Amendment) Order 2026 and comes into operation on 1 June 2026.
Amendment of paragraph 2
In the Active Mobility (Registrable Personal Mobility Devices) Order 2019 (G.N. No. S 15/2019), in paragraph 2 —
in sub‑paragraph (1)(a), delete “and” at the end;
in sub‑paragraph (1)(b), replace the full‑stop at the end with “; and”;
in sub‑paragraph (1), after sub‑paragraph (b), insert —“(c)is not a motorised luggage.”; and
after sub‑paragraph (2), insert —“(3) In this paragraph, “motorised luggage” means a suitcase that —
has one or more wheels;
is propelled by an electric motor attached to or integrated into the suitcase; and
is built to transport —
a rider; and
an individual’s luggage within the suitcase.”.
