Regulation 3
Application of Regulations
These Regulations apply to any Singapore operator who intends to conduct, or who is conducting, any of the following special operations:
a specified navigation performance operation;
an operation in RVSM airspace;
a low visibility operation;
an operation using an automatic landing system, a combined vision system, an enhanced vision system, a synthetic vision system, a head‑up display, or a hybrid system comprising any combination of these systems and display;
any operation while using a data link system;
any operation while using an electronic flight bag;
an extended diversion time operation;
a polar operation;
a mixed fleet flying operation;
an operation at night or under instrument meteorological conditions using a single‑engine turbine‑powered aeroplane;
an operation with performance‑based communications or performance‑based surveillance.
