Purpose of investigations under this Part

Section 52
(1)
The sole objective of an investigation of an accident or incident under this Part is the prevention of accidents and incidents, and not to apportion blame or liability.
(2)
Any investigation carried out under this Part must be separate from any judicial or administrative proceedings to apportion blame or liability.[13C
