Waiver
Subregulation 1
The Commissioner of Civil Defence may, if he thinks necessary and expedient upon the application of an operator of an amusement ride, waive or modify, subject to such conditions as he thinks fit to impose —
any of the fire safety requirements applicable to the amusement ride; or
any of the minimum requirements in the guidelines for —
an emergency response plan for the amusement ride;
a company emergency response team for the amusement ride; or
a risk assessment report for the amusement ride.
Subregulation 2
An application for a waiver under paragraph (1) shall be made in such form and manner as the Commissioner of Civil Defence may require and shall be accompanied by the appropriate application fee specified in the Schedule.
